Cultural transitions and identity

A person's hand and finger pointing to a mirror. The mirror reflects part of a person's face and a group of birds flying in a pink-purple sky.

I'm particularly interested in working with people going through a cultural transition, and the wish to understand ourselves and our place in the world that such transitions often bring.

You might have moved to the UK recently, or many years ago. You might have grown up between two cultures, or be raising children in a culture that isn't the one you grew up in. People often tell me they feel slightly different in each place, and not fully at home in either.

Sometimes clients worry about their cultural fluency, or even the way their accent comes across. Others carry grief for people and places they've left behind, or feel caught between their family's expectations and the life they're building here.

Having had experienced a international move myself, I want to create a space together where you can bring every part of yourself, including the parts that don't fit neatly into either culture.

Getting in touch is often the hardest step. I would love to hear from you, and together we can figure out if and how I can best support you
