About me and my practice

A woman with long dark hair, green eyes, and light-medium skin, wearing a coral-colored ribbed sweater, stands against a plain white wall.

Hello, I'm Anna. I see therapy first and foremost as a relationship, built on safety, trust, and genuine connection. Together, we'll shape the direction of our work based on what matters to you most.

My approach is grounded in Transactional Analysis. One of the things I value most about it is the idea that we're all made up of different parts, some shaped by early experiences, and some still trying to protect us in ways that no longer fit. Getting to know these parts with curiosity rather than judgement often helps patterns make sense. I draw on other approaches too, and pay close attention to what happens between us as much as what we talk about. Often, the dynamic in the room mirrors something important happening outside it.

Through my own experience of therapy as a client, I came to understand something I now hold central to the work: intellectual awareness of a pattern is rarely enough on its own. It was through finding a therapist I genuinely connected with that true positive change in my life became possible.

Having moved to the UK from Ukraine at 18, I understand how immigration and cultural differences can shape our sense of self and belonging. I'm especially drawn to working with clients navigating questions of identity, transition, and home. I'm also a mother. I understand firsthand the particular intensity of this transition, and feel passionate about working with people navigating it. Before training as a therapist, I spent nearly a decade in corporate settings. This gave me an understanding of stress, burnout, and the pressure to perform.

I offer sessions in English and Ukrainian.
